On Friday 13th January both reception classes wrapped up warm and headed out onto a snowy school field. Many of the children had not experienced snow since they were very, very young, so we were particularly excited!
We talked about how the snow felt, what it looked like, what we could hear, how it made us feel. We ran in it, we rolled in it, we even tried to make a snowman!
When we got back to class we talked about the weather and read stories about the snow. Fingers crossed we get more snow soon as many children said it was the “best day EVER!”
