To ban or not to ban? That is the question…

Over the last few weeks, LKS2 have been working hard on their persuasive speeches on whether or not to ban Pokémon cards.  Some key features that were included in their speeches were: rhetorical questions, emotive language, time connectives, conjunctions, etc.  The children then chose representatives from each class to present their speeches in front of Miss Tuohy.    She challenged the children to really think about how the will ensure that there will be no more issues with Pokémon cards.
