Pollution investigation in our forest and outside of our school.

Ash class did an amazing job investigating the amount of pollution in our forest and outside of school. They had to study the lichen on trees and they noticed there was less lichen in the forest compared to outside of school as those trees were next to a road which meant more pollution! They came up with ideas to reduce the pollution so lichen would be reduced. They were able to identify different forms of lichen such as hypogymnia physodes, ramalina fastigiate, physica adscendens and xanthoria parietina.
