Recycling is OUR future!

Did you know that there are almost 34,000 schools in the UK and they play a vital role in dealing with waste? Recycling schemes in schools help to improve the environment and can reduce money spent by the school on waste disposal. Therefore at St Vincent’s, we have started trying to be stewards of our environment and recycling all paper that is wasted at school. Two children from KS2 team up with two children from KS1 daily, they go around the whole school collecting the recycling paper and emptying it into our school paper-recycling bin which the council pick up.

This is a picture of a KS2 child and KS1 child working together and collecting the recycling waste around the school.
