Blood Soup!

Last Friday, Beech Class were learning about the different components of blood. Once they had completed a fact file about each component, they were able to visit the ‘blood bank’ and receive an ingredient to make their blood soup! We used thin orange squash to represent plasma; white mini marshmallows to represent white blood cells; rice to represent platelets and chopped up strawberry jelly to represent red blood cells. Apparently, it tasted delicious!!
